The service was excellent. Rachel was very helpful as a service advisor. One problem: I had to back the car out of the facility after the service was completed. Cars were lined up in front of me. I backed my car into a wall on the way out and damaged the left back bumper, which will need to be replaced because of considerable damage. I really did try to back it straight. Maybe I'm getting too old to drive (78). Next time I will ask a service advisor or another Shottenkirk employee to back it out for me. I didn't report the accident at the time. I just wanted to get home. I did call my service advisor after I got home and told her what happened. She was very courteous. (Date of service: 09/07/2021)

OMG....STAY AWAYThis dealership advertises no hassle...

OMG....STAY AWAY This dealership advertises no hassle price, yet when you get there be aware that they tack on a "care package" that you can't opt out of. THEN if you buy a certified vehicle, this fee is tacked on to the advertised price. I think it's deception. I would NEVER go back nor would I recommend this dealership. They missed something during the "certification process" as well. The finance personnel are rude as hel&^. FYI - during this time of COVID - they feel they are above the TX Mandate. They don't wear masks nor do the customers (obviously since the dealership doesn't)

Bought a vehicle over 2 weeks ago. Was told by finance while it's being recorded that I would get a call about my equity refund once the new vehicle was funded. That has already happened. Old vehicle has been paid and closed. I've called 5 times in 3 days and just now spoke to some manager who decided that the "process" is that a check won't be cut until the title is received from the other finance company. It shouldn't be that hard to get something accomplished. It shouldn't be that hard to get a phone call back from someone. I had a good experience while I was sitting in the dealership. Everything afterwards has gone to crap. They could absolutely remedy the situation and are choosing not to.

Wasted a complete day dealing with the state and dealership because of the dealerships incompetence. Managers didn’t show they cared at all for the mistake.

I am but this dealerships customer service and leadership isn't worth a good 25 word review! I do NOT recommend this dealership to anyone!!! (I've been asked for the additional following information below) I submitted my truck to Shottenkirk Toyota for engine warranty work. My warranty stipulates that I am to receive a loaner or rental car if my vehicle is kept overnight. They had my vehicle 5.5 days and never got me into a vehicle to drive nor communicated with me regarding the issues or transportation. They kept my truck 5.5 days and then instructed me to remove my truck from their property as they couldn't/wouldn't work on it. I am an hour away from them and had no transportation and they were of NO help in any way and rude. Further, I was told by the leadership of Shottenkirk that because I didn't purchase either my vehicle or warranty through him/them that I wasn't his/their customer. Regardless of were I bought my truck and warranty, I bought it off a Toyota lot. That makes me a Toyota customer!!! What I didn't inform these men of, I actually purchased a 2020 Toyota 86 GT off the showroom floor (same dealership as my truck) with warranty and all one month after I bought my truck. I wasn't going to defend my customer status to a band of... This is all the additional time I'm wasting on Shottenkirk Toyota. I will NOT do nor do I recommend them to anyone reading this review to do business with them.

Amazing, helpful, and caring staff!!! Our car battery died at the gas station next door in over 100 degree weather with a 2 year old in the car. The Service Department Manager Tim came to jump our car. We followed him to the dealership where they worked us into their schedule no problem! We were out of there and on our way home in less than an hour! It means so much that they care enough to go above and beyond to help us!!!!!! We definitely recommend them to anyone!!!

What a terrible experience. I wanted to make a deal on a jeep, but I live out of state. Unfortunately for me, I was paired up with Brandon Cooper and he was the worst salesman I've ever worked with. My messages went completely ignored and when I finally had enough and complained, he was sarcastic about it and basically told me that my business didn't matter, since I was out of state. The management also did nothing and made no contact with me when I complained. I'm done with this place.

I wish one could give negative stars. This dealership is engaging in deceptive advertising practices. The old "bait and switch". They advertise a no hassle price, but then tack on a "pre-owned inspection fee" and a "shottenkirk care" fee that are not advertised or included in the posted "no hassle" price. Very disappointing to see such a bait and switch dealership selling Toyotas. These people give a bad name to the industry. Avoid at all costs. Run, don't walk away from this dealership.

Did not feel valued and was jerked around too many times. Came by after work to look at car and was not ready. (Should have left at that point but I have tried to test drive used cars with same issues elsewhere.) Had to jump battery and then car would not stay off and drained battery when I got home (Issues with body control module they had to send to Honda to fix). Did not fill up car after purchased and Sam said they did not do that for used cars?? Then after they had the car for a week went to pick up and was told after I drove over an hour the service manager wanted to keep another day and would bring the next with full tank of gas and detailed. Brought the next day on empty and not cleaned and I sent it back so could follow through with what was promised. Had a cretificate from Sam's Club auto and tried to increase Shottenkirk care (which is a joke) by $1,000 and they had to send a check to toyota financing for the difference. Would not recommend. Very lazy and shady employees.

Waste of time, I do not recommend going here to purchase your vehicle. Went in to look at a used SUV that I found online for a reasonable price. We did the test drive, talked, worked out trades (they tried to crazily lowball us on vehicle prices by almost 8k its value) but they finally came around. We thought it was all good and all the sudden when the sales sheet and payment came up it was way higher (almost 200 bucks per month difference than what I calculated). I had to look through the paperwork to find out that they had tacked on 4,000 in fees they wanted for things like a tire warranty, glass coverage, etc. when confronted they said these were non-negotiable add-on's that "all dealerships do". They refused to take it off and argued with us about it telling us we really could not expect the price advertised to be what the final payment is going to be (no joke this is what the sales manager said). This wasted our time as that price became well above everyone else for the same vehicle. We went the next day and bought the same vehicle (same miles and all) for less than their advertised price at Don Davis Ford. To answer the question, no they did not tack anything on after the price at Don Davis. TLDR: expect to pay at least 4K above their advertised price if you want to purchase from here because of their non-negotiable add-on's. To me if these are non-negotiable, it should be the price that is listed. Otherwise, I feel it's pretty much a scam to get people in the door.

This was supposed to be a good experience since it was my son's first big purchase on his own. Instead the overall process was horrendous! My son and I went in on Saturday afternoon and he found a car he liked. The salesman did his job, sold us the vehicle. The vehicle sustained some hail damage from the last storm and we were able to negotiate for the dealership to fix it, no charge. Where I failed was not negotiating the Shottenkirk Care they tack on all their sticker prices. It was never mentioned to me by the salesman, but I should have looked at the paperwork harder. We finished up the paperwork and headed home. My spouse was not thrilled with the monthly payment so she suggested we apply another $5K towards the financed amount to decrease the payment. I called 10 mins before closing time with no luck of reaching anyone. So I went in on Monday afternoon and spoke to the finance manager, who completed our paperwork that Saturday. I explained to him what I'd like to do and he said we can't redo the paperwork since it was completed online. I asked him what options I had to get the monthly payment lowered and he provided three. 1. Refinance (that would be ridiculous) 2. Call Toyota and ask them to apply the $5K towards the principle in hopes it would lower the monthly payment 3. Call Toyota and ask them to apply the $5K towards the currently loan so my son would not have a payment for X months; but would not lower the monthly payment So I asked him if he would call Toyota and he balked at that request so I asked him for the number. I called Toyota and the finance person I spoke with stated that since they don't have the contract in their system, the dealership could redo it. I advised the finance manager what Toyota stated and I asked him if we would redo the contract. He again stated no. I asked to talk to his manager. He stated "Why do you expect us to go through the trouble of redoing the paperwork since you changed your mind." I was awestruck and didn't have anything to say. All I wanted to do was get the monthly payment at a manageable amount for my son. Instead of getting a manager, he redid the paperwork. Why go through all that and end up redoing the contract? The customer service from this dealership is seriously lacking and it starts w/the managers at all levels. I do not ever intend on buying another vehicle from this dealership. I will let anyone and everyone know what to expect if they decide to purchase a vehicle from this dealership...very unscrupulous way to do business!

I went in for the first of my 2 years of complimentary maintenance provided by Toyota. They had to take the wheels off to rotate the tires so I asked them to check the balance because of a vibration. I DID NOT ask them to do it for free. When they turned the vehicle back over to me I asked about the balance. I was told by the service advisor that the service tech had refused to check balance and said it was probably my tires, that are BRAND NEW from the factory. They did rotate the tires but didn’t bother to adjust the air pressure. Toyota specs specify for more air pressure in the rear tires than in the front. After I got home and checked the pressure I found higher air pressure in the front tires than the rear. This is just not good customer service. I also want it known that I have seen a poor level of service from this dealership that started right after I signed the paperwork. I paid upfront for a leather seat upgrade and a bed cover that I had multiple problems getting scheduled through my sales rep. Cody Blackwell. It took about a month after the sale to get my upgrades installed. Cody Blackwell wasted my time not once, but TWO TIMES he scheduled me to bring the truck in for the leather installation BEFORE the leather had even been ordered by the installer. Cody Blackwell assured me that the installation of the leather AND the bed cover could be done in 1 DAY even after I questioned it with skepticism. I later found out that the leather installer usually needs the vehicle for 2 1/2 days minimum. Cody Blackwell gave me the impression that he just didn’t want to be bothered after he made the sale. I’m sure to buy another Toyota in a few years, but it won’t be from Shottenkirk Weatherford. I’ll shop in Ft. Worth or Dallas for my next one. I’ve had several Fords before this Toyota. I purchased all of them from Southwest Ford, across the street from Shottenkirk Toyota. If I was this Shottenkirk fella I would do whatever I could to copy how Southwest Ford serves their customers before AND AFTER the sale, but he better hitch up his belt because he has A LONG LONG WAY to go.

Drove a hour away to Weatherford for a "great deal" they were advertising on cars.com for a 2015 Z51 chevy corvette for $47,839 with 10.5k miles on it. When i test drove it , the check engine light comes on an it kills. They had another one same year with only 3k miles on it for $48,957. When purchasing it. The cars.com advertised price isn't actually correct price. They have powertrain warranty for $2,995 that you are REQUIRED to buy. Which last 6 months or 6,00 miles. Most powertrain warranties fall between $1,500- $3,000 and have around a 50k / 5 year life on them. Plus a fee of $1,495 for cleaning, maintenance ect. With TTL the grand total is now $57,229. Had to purchase vehicle with 1/4th tank of gas because there pump broke. Guess they couldn't see the gas right next to them... and after driving it a day realized it had a shuttering problem. Had to go through way too much dialogue for them to take the car back for repairs, even with the GREAT warranty they made me buy. Couldnt even receive a loner so i was forced to Uber over a hour twice to get my car back. They really deserve a 0 star

I would give this place 0 stars if possible. First, they price the vehicles at a low cost online, and add on almost $4k in their Shottenkirk program to fix dents, dings, chips, etc. and there is no way to take that off of the total price of the vehicle. On top of that, they say they price vehicles according to the condition they receive them in which is false. I financed a 2020 GMC elevation for $50k out the door, which is relatively close to almost all dealership prices in the area. They DID NOT tell me the vehicle had hail damage on the hood and roof of the vehicle. Also, I understand they are not liable to list that in carfax. There was no reduction for these damages in the total cost of the vehicle. On top of that, instead of offering to fix the damages on the vehicle, they wanted to charge $1k for the hail dents to be fixed. Most people will say, “you should have looked over the vehicle before purchase”, which I did, but white is very hard to see imperfections on in the middle of the day. Therefore, I would not recommend anyone buy a vehicle from a dealership that isn’t going to be honest and up front about the vehicle you are purchasing. The bad thing is, they took it to the detail shop to have it cleaned before my purchase, and still never mentioned the small hail dents in the hood. Which, in my opinion, I’m sure they came across and never bothered to mention. Anyway, if you buy a car from these people, be careful! It is going to cost me a couple hundred out of pocket to have my vehicle fixed now.

Don’t believe their advertised price, they load up the fees on you, $1995 for Dealer Care, $1500 for Pre Owned, $250 for non tax fee, $150 for Dealer Doc, this was an additional 17%. $3900 added to the cost, if anyone agrees with this tactic than go visit them, Watch out, You have been warned Look at there star ratings on their website, all 5’s, then look at other web sites and see the truth about them. Travis is who I worked with, kind of feel sorry for him. Don’t believe any 5 stars on them, most have to be fake, but no one would write a 1 star (zero) if it was not true.

I went in for the first of my 2 years of complimentary maintenance provided by Toyota. They had to take the wheels off to rotate the tires so I asked them to check the balance because of a vibration. I DID NOT ask them to do it for free. When they turned the vehicle back over to me I asked about the balance. I was told by the service advisor that the service tech had refused to check balance and said it was probably my tires, that are BRAND NEW from the factory. They did rotate the tires but didn’t bother to adjust the air pressure. Toyota specs specify for more air pressure in the rear tires than in the front. After I got home and checked the pressure I found higher air pressure in the front tires than the rear. This is just not good customer service. I also want it known that I have seen a poor level of service from this dealership that started right after I signed the paperwork. I paid upfront for a leather seat upgrade and a bed cover that I had multiple problems getting scheduled through my sales rep. Cody Blackwell. It took about a month after the sale to get my upgrades installed. Cody Blackwell wasted my time not once, but TWO TIMES he scheduled me to bring the truck in for the leather installation BEFORE the leather had even been ordered by the installer. Cody Blackwell assured me that the installation of the leather AND the bed cover could be done in 1 DAY even after I questioned it with skepticism. I later found out that the leather installer usually needs the vehicle for 2 1/2 days minimum. Cody Blackwell gave me the impression that he just didn’t want to be bothered after he made the sale. I’m sure to buy another Toyota in a few years, but it won’t be from Shottenkirk Weatherford. I’ll shop in Ft. Worth or Dallas for my next one. I’ve had several Fords before this Toyota. I purchased all of them from Southwest Ford, across the street from Shottenkirk Toyota. If I was this Shottenkirk fella I would do whatever I could to copy how Southwest Ford serves their customers before AND AFTER the sale, but he better hitch up his belt because he has A LONG LONG WAY to go.

The worst service I have received at a dealership in my life. I had an appointment to see a vehicle in which I confirmed my appointment and when I got there I was told my salesman was with another customer. After traveling to the dealership an hour and a half, I had to wait 30 minutes for the sales manager to tell me that the vehicle was sold 2 hours before my appointment and asked if I was interested in anything else. I personally believe that the vehicle had been sold and their objective is to get people to come there for the bait and switch. I asked the sales manager why I wasn’t notified that the vehicle was sold and he said that it is impossible to do that since they sell so many cars. He took no accountability and made it seem like I was supposed to keep calling constantly on my way to the dealership to make sure the vehicle was still there. So what’s the point of making an appointment? I have purchased several cars throughout the Years and I have never experienced such unprofessional service. I would definitely not recommend this dealership.

I found a pickup truck I was interested in on their website and then drove 50 miles to get it. Once at the table to close the deal, I noticed the sales manager added almost 5000 dollars to the price advertised. I then asked for clarification and the answer was: "there is the protect packet plan + the service maintenance." I told them that it was not the price advertised and I was not interested by any additional products or services. Greg, the sale representative did a really great job and we were at 1 hair to close the deal. The sales manager, Daniel Fletcher was just rude and tried to force me to buy additional services. He looked on internet and saw the same price I saw but did not want to admit it. It was just a terrible experience and unfortunately a lost of trust. I do not recommend that dealership.

We walked into the dealership with a specific vehicle in mind. We were sent to a Salesman desk and he asked questions about our situation. He wanted to immediately discuss payments without even asking us about looking at the vehicle. The Finance Manager came out to haggle pricing and if we could even make a deal. It felt like he was more concerned with the payments first before allowing us to look at the vehicle. It seemed to a be sales tactic to save them time and not allow us to see or test drive the vehicle. We tried to get to the payment agreement without even physically looking at the vehicle. We did not come terms to their payments and recommended another brand of vehicle even after we expressed our vehicle needs.

I am but this dealerships customer service and leadership isn't worth a good 25 word review! I do NOT recommend this dealership to anyone!!! (I've been asked for the additional following information below) I submitted my truck to Shottenkirk Toyota for engine warranty work. My warranty stipulates that I am to receive a loaner or rental car if my vehicle is kept overnight. They had my vehicle 5.5 days and never got me into a vehicle to drive nor communicated with me regarding the issues or transportation. They kept my truck 5.5 days and then instructed me to remove my truck from their property as they couldn't/wouldn't work on it. I am an hour away from them and had no transportation and they were of NO help in any way and rude. Further, I was told by the leadership of Shottenkirk that because I didn't purchase either my vehicle or warranty through him/them that I wasn't his/their customer. Regardless of were I bought my truck and warranty, I bought it off a Toyota lot. That makes me a Toyota customer!!! What I didn't inform these men of, I actually purchased a 2020 Toyota 86 GT off the showroom floor (same dealership as my truck) with warranty and all one month after I bought my truck. I wasn't going to defend my customer status to a band of... This is all the additional time I'm wasting on Shottenkirk Toyota. I will NOT do nor do I recommend them to anyone reading this review to do business with them.

OMG....STAY AWAY This dealership advertises no hassle price, yet when you get there be aware that they tack on a "care package" that you can't opt out of. THEN if you buy a certified vehicle, this fee is tacked on to the advertised price. I think it's deception. I would NEVER go back nor would I recommend this dealership. They missed something during the "certification process" as well. The finance personnel are rude as hel&^. FYI - during this time of COVID - they feel they are above the TX Mandate. They don't wear masks nor do the customers (obviously since the dealership doesn't)

I wish one could give negative stars. This dealership is engaging in deceptive advertising practices. The old "bait and switch". They advertise a no hassle price, but then tack on a "pre-owned inspection fee" and a "shottenkirk care" fee that are not advertised or included in the posted "no hassle" price. Very disappointing to see such a bait and switch dealership selling Toyotas. These people give a bad name to the industry. Avoid at all costs. Run, don't walk away from this dealership.

The advertised price was awesome. Unfortunately it was a bait and switch. Not only did the truck have hail damage on the hood, and the power running boards were bit functioning properly, but the salesman tried to tell me the running boards weren’t supposed to retract. Ford F-150 Platinum running boards are power retracting. I’m no idiot. I was willing to overlook it due to the great price. Then we sit down and they show the ACTUAL price including a warranty and a reconditioning price of $4500. The reconditioning hadn’t been done, obviously since the running boards weren’t fixed and there was even a scuff on a door handle from a yellow post in a parking lot. Then I was informed that they COULD NOT remove the warranty. It is against the law to force someone to buy a warranty. I guess they figured we wouldn’t walk out. I did and will never darken a Shottenkirk door again.

All I can say is “wow!” I have never been lied to so hard as working with these folks. I was told that I could not buy a vehicle unless purchasing the “Shottebkirk Advantage” which is a $2k insurance policy on your wheels, dents, and windshield. I was told there was no way to remove it and when I pressured the sales manager he told me the car was priced too aggressively to remove that coverage - not pay problem. I then called and spoke with the GSM - Barry. He argued with me on whether or not this was disclosed on their website (it’s not). I asked to speak to the GM and was refused. I asked for a corporate contact number and was hung up on. Apparently - that’s the Shottebkirk Experience.

Sales guy was rude and acted like it was an issue to sell me the car because it was late…I’m sorry I also have a job…then cut my test drive short because he wanted to get back I guess, I didn’t even get to put 2 miles on a car I was buying, as soon as we got to cruising speed he said “ok do a u turn here and let’s head back” and then made a comment about my credit score and how “You better have a good credit score”. Finance was good. They forgot to state inspect the car so we had to drive it back an hour, a month after we got it to have that done and the battery had to be replaced 2 weeks after I bought it. The car is great but the salesman was horrible. I would never do business with them again because of him, the finance guy was great and made everything “work” but still an upsetting situation. Sales guy was young and needs to learn customer service skills. 0 stars deserved.

Did not feel valued and was jerked around too many times. Came by after work to look at car and was not ready. (Should have left at that point but I have tried to test drive used cars with same issues elsewhere.) Had to jump battery and then car would not stay off and drained battery when I got home (Issues with body control module they had to send to Honda to fix). Did not fill up car after purchased and Sam said they did not do that for used cars?? Then after they had the car for a week went to pick up and was told after I drove over an hour the service manager wanted to keep another day and would bring the next with full tank of gas and detailed. Brought the next day on empty and not cleaned and I sent it back so could follow through with what was promised. Had a cretificate from Sam's Club auto and tried to increase Shottenkirk care (which is a joke) by $1,000 and they had to send a check to toyota financing for the difference. Would not recommend. Very lazy and shady employees.

We got no updates on the vehicle status and got the vehicle back filthy with mud all over it. The location of the seat heater buttons installed was horrible. Pretty disappointing for our first service department visit. Don’t get me started on sales. We were promised the vehicle had remote starting option with the Toyota app and the key fob. This was mentioned a few times during the sale. Our vehicle has NO such options. We feel cheated.

Buyer beware. Their online posted price might be rated as "good/great" on Cars.com/Autotrader, but they don't reflect an additional $3,500 in taxable dealer junk fees that they add to the price. I've bought numerous used cars in my lifetime, and several from reputable Toyota franchisees, and I've never paid these kind of junk fees. Go elsewhere to buy your next car. Sam Ramsey was very responsive to my inquiries. However, when it was time to close the deal, and dealing with Danielle Smith, she never replied to my concerns on the junk fees, nor rationally justified their charge. Very misleading way of doing business. I would rather you just advertise the full/higher price, without the junk fees, and show the consumer that your price is really not a "good/great" deal as you lead us to believe, online.

The advertised price was awesome. Unfortunately it was a bait and switch. Not only did the truck have hail damage on the hood, and the power running boards were bit functioning properly, but the salesman tried to tell me the running boards weren’t supposed to retract. Ford F-150 Platinum running boards are power retracting. I’m no idiot. I was willing to overlook it due to the great price. Then we sit down and they show the ACTUAL price including a warranty and a reconditioning price of $4500. The reconditioning hadn’t been done, obviously since the running boards weren’t fixed and there was even a scuff on a door handle from a yellow post in a parking lot. Then I was informed that they COULD NOT remove the warranty. It is against the law to force someone to buy a warranty. I guess they figured we wouldn’t walk out. I did and will never darken a Shottenkirk door again.

I would give this place 0 stars if possible. First, they price the vehicles at a low cost online, and add on almost $4k in their Shottenkirk program to fix dents, dings, chips, etc. and there is no way to take that off of the total price of the vehicle. On top of that, they say they price vehicles according to the condition they receive them in which is false. I financed a 2020 GMC elevation for $50k out the door, which is relatively close to almost all dealership prices in the area. They DID NOT tell me the vehicle had hail damage on the hood and roof of the vehicle. Also, I understand they are not liable to list that in carfax. There was no reduction for these damages in the total cost of the vehicle. On top of that, instead of offering to fix the damages on the vehicle, they wanted to charge $1k for the hail dents to be fixed. Most people will say, “you should have looked over the vehicle before purchase”, which I did, but white is very hard to see imperfections on in the middle of the day. Therefore, I would not recommend anyone buy a vehicle from a dealership that isn’t going to be honest and up front about the vehicle you are purchasing. The bad thing is, they took it to the detail shop to have it cleaned before my purchase, and still never mentioned the small hail dents in the hood. Which, in my opinion, I’m sure they came across and never bothered to mention. Anyway, if you buy a car from these people, be careful! It is going to cost me a couple hundred out of pocket to have my vehicle fixed now.

The worst dealership ever, they are scammers and liars that use false advertisement to get you to their dealership. This dealership advertises cars at what would be a good deal but when it comes down to negotiating a deal the sales manager comes out with the paper that has the sales price and different finance options considering you approval rate and down payment which is fine. But then the sales price has been inflated several thousands of dollars because they added shop cost tire, dent, and windshield warranty, That's right a warranty that you don't ask for and according to the sales manager they will not remove. This is called Product Packing to inflate the price of the car to cause the customer to finance more and adds more to the tax title and license. I contacted the General Manager Barry schwerdt by email knowing that he probably wouldn't respond because the the sales managers Alan Schwerdt and Josh schwerdt are related to him and that he wouldn't do anything about this illegal procedure.

Worst experience I’ve had with any dealership. We drove an hour to see and ultimately buy the vehicle. When it came down to the costs and everything we were ready to sign until we saw the page and they had an additional $3500 to the advertised price. Ridiculous scam. I wish I could give a lower review. They were shameless about it. I went on Yelp as well and saw many other reviews of the same experience as I did. Call them and ask for the walk out price before wasting your time driving down there.

Bought a vehicle over 2 weeks ago. Was told by finance while it's being recorded that I would get a call about my equity refund once the new vehicle was funded. That has already happened. Old vehicle has been paid and closed. I've called 5 times in 3 days and just now spoke to some manager who decided that the "process" is that a check won't be cut until the title is received from the other finance company. It shouldn't be that hard to get something accomplished. It shouldn't be that hard to get a phone call back from someone. I had a good experience while I was sitting in the dealership. Everything afterwards has gone to crap. They could absolutely remedy the situation and are choosing not to.

Drove a hour away to Weatherford for a "great deal" they were advertising on cars.com for a 2015 Z51 chevy corvette for $47,839 with 10.5k miles on it. When i test drove it , the check engine light comes on an it kills. They had another one same year with only 3k miles on it for $48,957. When purchasing it. The cars.com advertised price isn't actually correct price. They have powertrain warranty for $2,995 that you are REQUIRED to buy. Which last 6 months or 6,00 miles. Most powertrain warranties fall between $1,500- $3,000 and have around a 50k / 5 year life on them. Plus a fee of $1,495 for cleaning, maintenance ect. With TTL the grand total is now $57,229. Had to purchase vehicle with 1/4th tank of gas because there pump broke. Guess they couldn't see the gas right next to them... and after driving it a day realized it had a shuttering problem. Had to go through way too much dialogue for them to take the car back for repairs, even with the GREAT warranty they made me buy. Couldnt even receive a loner so i was forced to Uber over a hour twice to get my car back. They really deserve a 0 star

This dealership uses (at best) deceptive business practices, and at worst - illegal business practices. My experience mirrors so many others on Yelp/other review sites, and in some cases, takes it to the extreme. Detailed recount of events below: Online/ "No Hassle Pricing" on multiple sites and on dealer's own website was stated as $17,660 For a 2019 Honda Accord LX. Called and spoke to salesman who confirmed the price and stated no ancillary fees outside of "TTL, doc, and registration." This aligned with "disclaimer" on website for the vehicle, and is standard in the industry. It wasn't until AFTER two of the three test drives and several hours spent at the dealership that Jared (salesman) brings up dealership's "Reconditioning/Prep fee" & "Shottenkirk care" fees passed along to customers. I briefly attempted to solicit details on each and made it clear i would not pay those. This was just the tip of my issue, but clarification warranted nonetheless. Why would i pay for another warranty on cars still with OEM factory & powertrain warranties remaining? He went to get his manager (Terry Ford). Terry brings me the balance sheet breaking down the costs AFTER several hours of test drives etc. Total (before lowball trade in offer) was OVER $22,000. The bulk of this revolved around these "mandatory" Shottenkirk Care @ $1,995.00 & a Pre-Owned Inspection @ $1,500.00 in addition to Non-tax Fees @ 225.77 & Dealer Doc is $150.00. I ask what $1,999.00 Shottenkirk Care fee is. Terry Ford (Manager) says this is a "service/warranty contract REQUIRED on all vehicles we sell". Mind you the vehicle in question has most of both the powertrain and factory warranty remaining. I say I do not want that service and that I do not want to pay for it. He says I "HAVE to get it". I ask what the $1,500.00 Pre-owned Inspection fee is. Terry Ford (Manager) says it is what it cost him to get the car ready to sell. I told him it seems they are manufacturing or inflating the actual "prep" fees and passing business expenses onto consumers. Every dealership has minimal checks/maintenance/cleaning done on units presale. Write that off on taxes, don't attempt to manufacture additional costs and pass it along to customers. An oil/filter change with other checks and a wash does not equate to $1500 dollars. If that was actual overhead/make ready costs, you wouldn't be in business very long i wouldn't think. His only response was to reiterate the mandate that these be paid. Not only did the salesman fail to bring these up when I called in, but they are nowhere to be found on the dealer's website. Terry then offered me $3500 for my 2012 ford fusion with only 21,600 miles. Car is in excellent shape, validated by the offers i have received from other dealerships (including Family Toyota) AFTER they also inspected the car in person. See all of those offers attached. When i told Terry that GiveMetheVin and Carmax were the high bidders at $7900 and $8,000 respectively. His answer was the following - "You can't include GiveMetheVin because they are a different type of business". He did not ask for the offer letters, or anything. I told him that GiveMetheVin was a wholesaler, in the business of buying cars TO SELL TO DEALERSHIPS who then mark up to sell to customers. The fact that a wholesaler hit my car that much higher should be an instant red flag. I thought he maybe mistyped something to get that offer and made sure he had miles etc. was correct. His only reply was that they would come up to $4500. For additional context, it was 7:30PM at this point, and i got the feeling he was looking to leave since I was insistent on these bogus "mandatory" and borderline illegal fees be removed. At that point i stood up, shook his hand and said if that is the case I'd like my keys and thanked him for his time. He did not say a word, huffed, and walked away without giving me my keys. He did not say a word to me. I had to come back in and follow Jared (salesman) to go get my keys. It was at that point i overheard Terry flat out calling me a liar for the supposed "offer" i had on the car. Immediately sent an email to the GM and have yet to hear a response. The cherry on top is the reviews he wrote about his own dealership posing as a customer.

The service was excellent. Rachel was very helpful as a service advisor. One problem: I had to back the car out of the facility after the service was completed. Cars were lined up in front of me. I backed my car into a wall on the way out and damaged the left back bumper, which will need to be replaced because of considerable damage. I really did try to back it straight. Maybe I'm getting too old to drive (78). Next time I will ask a service advisor or another Shottenkirk employee to back it out for me. I didn't report the accident at the time. I just wanted to get home. I did call my service advisor after I got home and told her what happened. She was very courteous. (Date of service: 09/07/2021)

OMG....STAY AWAY This dealership advertises no hassle price, yet when you get there be aware that they tack on a "care package" that you can't opt out of. THEN if you buy a certified vehicle, this fee is tacked on to the advertised price. I think it's deception. I would NEVER go back nor would I recommend this dealership. They missed something during the "certification process" as well. The finance personnel are rude as hel&^. FYI - during this time of COVID - they feel they are above the TX Mandate. They don't wear masks nor do the customers (obviously since the dealership doesn't)

I am but this dealerships customer service and leadership isn't worth a good 25 word review! I do NOT recommend this dealership to anyone!!! (I've been asked for the additional following information below) I submitted my truck to Shottenkirk Toyota for engine warranty work. My warranty stipulates that I am to receive a loaner or rental car if my vehicle is kept overnight. They had my vehicle 5.5 days and never got me into a vehicle to drive nor communicated with me regarding the issues or transportation. They kept my truck 5.5 days and then instructed me to remove my truck from their property as they couldn't/wouldn't work on it. I am an hour away from them and had no transportation and they were of NO help in any way and rude. Further, I was told by the leadership of Shottenkirk that because I didn't purchase either my vehicle or warranty through him/them that I wasn't his/their customer. Regardless of were I bought my truck and warranty, I bought it off a Toyota lot. That makes me a Toyota customer!!! What I didn't inform these men of, I actually purchased a 2020 Toyota 86 GT off the showroom floor (same dealership as my truck) with warranty and all one month after I bought my truck. I wasn't going to defend my customer status to a band of... This is all the additional time I'm wasting on Shottenkirk Toyota. I will NOT do nor do I recommend them to anyone reading this review to do business with them.

The Service Department Manager Tim came to jump our car. We followed him to the dealership where they worked us into their schedule no problem! This dealership wants to make you buy warranty things of over $2500 to add to the price of the vehicle. They will not accept no for an answer. They have perfected being scams with this as they really try to gloss over the add-on. I feel sorry for the unseasoned buyer.

What a terrible experience. I wanted to make a deal on a jeep, but I live out of state. Unfortunately for me, I was paired up with Brandon Cooper and he was the worst salesman I've ever worked with. My messages went completely ignored and when I finally had enough and complained, he was sarcastic about it and basically told me that my business didn't matter, since I was out of state. The management also did nothing and made no contact with me when I complained. I'm done with this place.
